I’m extremely proud of my 24 year blue-collar history. I speak two languages, English and country,
and always will. Don’t let the suit you may see me in fool you! I’m blue-collar to the bone.
Many of the best people I have ever met were wearing safety glasses, ear plugs, a pair of well-worn, dirty, greasy, steel-toed boots, and a smile. I’m glad to have met them all. Blue-collar workers are an amazing group of hard-working, dedicated people. They matter. And, they make things happen.
The blue-collar workforce has been overlooked for far too long. Bob Chapman, CEO of Barry-Wehmiller, said it best, “We have been paying people for their hands for years when they would have given us their heads and hearts for free…if we had just known how to ask!”
